NHS Learning Support Fund

Students starting an eligible healthcare course in autumn 2020 can apply for additional support under the .

Funding amounts

Funding consists of up to £5000 for eligible students each academic year. An additional payment of up to £3000 may be awarded to students who are focusing on a particular healthcare specialism or region that struggles to recruit, or who need assistance for childcare costs.

Eligible courses

Students are eligible for this funding for a range of healthcare courses, including physiotherapy.

Master of Science by Dissertation (MSD) and PhD Studentships

We offer studentships for research students throughout the year. When they are advertised you will find the relevant information on this page or you can contact us with any studentship enquiries.

We do not currently have any PhD studentships open for recruitment.

Research students at the ºÚÁÏÍø have access to our unique professional development scheme . Depending on the type of research degree (MSD, MPhil, or PhD) you are taking, you will have access to funding of up to £2500 for training courses, a portion of which is to be used for conference attendance.
