This event is part of a series of Psychology seminars that regularly occurs during the Autumn and Spring terms.
Computational psychiatry is a maturing field that focuses on applying computational models to the understanding of mental health phenomena.
In this talk, Alex Pike will summarise some recent work that explicitly tests some of the assumptions we take for granted when conducting this research: covering recoverability, test-retest reliability, generalisability and relationships with symptoms. Alex will also cover the implications of this work, and where she thinks we can (or should) go from here.
Alex Pike is a Lecturer in Mental Health at the University of York.
